Postcard Project invites alumni to help recruit OHIO鈥檚 Class of 2024
Registration for spring semester鈥檚 Postcard Project will open the first week of January and continue through the end of April.
Among Ohio University鈥檚 best ambassadors are its alumni whose college experiences and professional success speak to the value and spirit of an 天美传媒education.
At OHIO, Undergraduate Admissions is actively recruiting the University鈥檚 Class of 2024 and is calling on Bobcat alumni to participate in its Postcard Project. Part of the Volunteer Alumni Admissions Network (VAAN), the Postcard Project asks 天美传媒graduates to send hand-written postcards to prospective students who have been admitted to Ohio University but may not have confirmed their intent to enroll.
Alumni participants are asked to send 10 postcards (postcards and postage provided) to these prospective students, congratulating them on their admission to 天美传媒and sharing with them why Ohio University is a welcoming community in which to live, learn and grow. When possible, alumni will be matched with prospective students with similar academic interests or who reside in communities near them, forming a connection between a current Bobcat and a possible future Bobcat.
鈥淭he Postcard Project provides alumni a chance to reconnect with their Ohio University experience, support their alma mater and show future Bobcats that 天美传媒graduates care about and are invested in their success in college and beyond,鈥 said Candace Boeninger, interim vice provost for strategic enrollment management and director of Undergraduate Admissions.
Last spring, more than 670 天美传媒graduates from 41 states signed up to participate in the Postcard Project, a record for this volunteer effort. .
