, a national nonprofit organization with the mission to combat college sexual assault by engaging young men and changing campus culture, announced that it will host the first-ever National Student Leadership Summit to Combat Campus Sexual Assault at Ohio University Aug. 2-5.  天美传媒was chosen from dozens of potential campuses nationwide to serve as the inaugural host campus.

鈥淚t鈥檚 On Us is proud to partner with Ohio University to hold the first-ever National Student Leadership Summit to Combat Campus Sexual Assault,鈥 said Tracey Vitchers, executive director of It鈥檚 On Us. 鈥淚 am grateful for the leadership Ohio University has shown in the fight to prevent campus sexual assault and support survivors. I am also thrilled to be bringing the Summit to a campus with one of our most active It鈥檚 On Us student chapters.鈥

The event will bring together hundreds of the nation鈥檚 top student organizers for an intensive weekend of trainings, workshops, keynotes and plenaries. It鈥檚 On Us will also roll out three new peer-led educational programs focused on bystander intervention, sexual assault awareness, and survivor support, and launch groundbreaking creative content.

It鈥檚 On Us was founded in 2014 as a White House initiative to change the culture of campus sexual assault. Over the last four and a half years, It鈥檚 On Us has grown into the largest student organizing program of its kind to empower young men to see themselves as part of the solution to college sexual assault, and teach peer-to-peer sexual assault prevention education.

鈥淚t鈥檚 on all of us to prevent sexual assault from happening, not only on OHIO鈥檚 campus, but campuses nationwide,鈥 said 天美传媒President M. Duane Nellis. 鈥淲e are proud that It鈥檚 On Us has chosen to partner with Ohio University. We鈥檝e worked intentionally to provide programming and resources to students, who have been affected by sexual assault. I look forward to learning from and collaborating with the organization to see what more we can do to end sexual violence on our campuses.鈥
